The Barnhearts are an uptempo, original and classic country band based out of Lubbock Texas. Formed in 2023, by Jim Clack and Cole Stanley both of which are singer songwriters and guitar players. They added Colt Compton on keys and saxophone in early 2024 and most recently added Matt Newsome and Dub Wood from the band No Dry County on drums and Bass. Jim Clack  formerly a solo acoustic act, fronts the group and writes most of the original songs. Cole Stanley also writes and fronts the group when he’s not shredding on the lead guitar. Cole and Matt are also members of  Mason and The Gin Line. The Barnhearts have burst onto the Lubbock Texas music scene past 2 years with 4 singles released already and plans to record a new full length album by early 2026. All of The Barnhearts are regular performers at the blue light live, and all over West Texas / Eastern New Mexico area. The Barnhearts influences taken from unique Texas artists such as The Old 97’s ,Pat Green and Wade Bowen, as well as classic country artists such as Ray Price, Willie Nelson and Merle Haggard. The Barnhearts aim to make everyone dance and drink and just all around have a great night that leaves you with an original tune stuck in your head.
